Holiday happiness at Sierra West!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Sierra West Christmas Store in downtown Casper! Located at 133 S. Center Street, Sierra West is overflowing with everything you may need to fill your home with joy this holiday season.

The wonderful owner of this store, Judy Anderson, has been in business since 1988 selling rustic décor at Sierra West. Ten years ago, Judy started incorporating Christmas items into her store. “My husband asked me if there was something about the store I wanted to change or wanted to add. And I said yes, I wanted Christmas! And he said well, we will have Christmas then” Anderson stated.

Fast forward 10 years to present day and the Sierra West Christmas store is the place to be for any Christmas shopper. The rows of Christmas décor are separated by themes including Santa’s, reindeers, gingerbread men, snowmen and more! Trees are filled with any kind of ornament you can think of and topped with extra special tree toppers, including cowboy hats, elf hats and plaid mad hatter hats. Just ask Mrs. Anderson, as her favorite themed area is the “Mad about Plaid” section, filled with plaid décor.

If you are a frequent shopper here, or new to the store, the perfect time to go is this holiday season. For Black Friday and Small Business Saturday on November 29th and 30th, Sierra West will be offering storewide discounts ranging from 20%-25% off select items. And if that doesn’t stop you in your tracks and make you want to stop by, the arrangement of goodies Mrs. Anderson has for customers just might. “We always have refreshments. Coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, and lots of times we have a lot more than that, you could eat a meal!”

Sierra West is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. At any time during business hours, Mrs. Anderson will be there to greet you with a friendly smile and help you find the pieces you need to make your house, feel like a holiday home this season. Shop local, shop #MyDowntownCasper.
